We feel truly blessed that Doug & Julie Rice allowed us to purchase this perfect yearling female at the 2022 Fall Buckeye Show. We were super excited when Lu Lu was judged to be the Color Champion by Judge Helen Testa in her halter class shortly after we struck a deal to purchase her! We also want to thank and welcome Sharon E. Rainey as co-owner to our sweet LuLu! Sharon has a knack for picking all the good ones — the ones that have not only nice fleece and conformation, but the best personalities! Kahlua or "Lu Lu", as she’s called....is the first Suri female we intentionally selected to be part of a Suri foundation herd at MMFA. We were instantly drawn to this beautiful true black female. Since we started showing her, we have heard the judges feedback firsthand and they are super impressed with her true black color. She has incredible color uniformity! Obviously, she has many other good things going for her. :) Her fiber has a cool, soft feel Her coverage is very good Lu Lu brings some fabulous genetics to the table... Her mother (Annapurna) is a Cinders offspring Her father (Chocolate Moon) is a 5 Time Champion - silky beautiful lustrous fiber, beautiful conformation, etc. Chocolate Moon is a Goldstar's Jet son. Kahlua is super sweet, mellow and a joy to be around - you can reach out and touch her easily.
