ALPACA ROAD'S KING OF THE ROAD

Unfortunately, we need to reduce our herd size due to some unforseen medical issues, so we are reluctantly offering King for sale. The only reason he's for sale is that we've decided to focus on our Huacaya program since we're planning to reduce our herd by at least half. King's show accolades aren't particularly impressive, but if you come see this boy at 6 years old, I guarantee you'll be impressed.

We are so confident in what we see in this 6-year old that we decided to break from the tradition of breeding GLR Black Diamond to WLK Milano (a pairing that has produced multiple champion offspring), to give King a shot with her! We know there's a possibility of producing a multi, but we're willing to take the chance on that -- we have no doubt that even a multi with these genetics will be amazing, even though that's not something we personally breed for.

UPDATE: King has a confirmed pregnancy (on his first try, might I say!), and we can't wait to see the outcome in Spring 2025! King is one of those boys that makes you turn your head. His markings are striking! He is almost completely beige, but has black on the inside of his ears, and four black feet. He has a beautiful, silky and lustrous fleece at almost 6 years old. Diane Timmerman told his prior owners to use him in a dark breeding program. So… we did just that!
