MMFA Hit the Jackpot

We call her Jackie. We made the decision to purchase Jackie's dam, Sumthn Else, after initially opting for another of Else's daughters. We purchased Else when she was on the verge of giving birth to her 2022 cria. We felt sure she'd have a male cria but think we hit the jackpot when she gave birth to a sturdy 18.3 pound female -- hence the name "Hit the Jackpot" whom we call Jackie!

Each time we look at Jackie, she surprises us. Her fleece character is developing and now her next fleece is coming in and I've got cold feet about selling her, but we need to reduce the size of our herd. Take a look at the second page of her histogram -- it shows that her next fleece will be finer than her first. The bottom of the graph shows the fiber micron distance from the tip. It's buttery soft to the touch and lacking guard hairs. We expect she’ll have lingering fineness just like Elsie. Her conformation is also spot on.
