Brightness, luster, lock structure--beautiful girl! “Kara”, as we call her, holds a place in my heart. She's so calm and gentle when you get your hands on her, but she’s rather skittish otherwise. She’s warming up to people. She’s becoming curious and getting closer to taking treats from our hands, but she still has a ways to go.
Kara had a C-section in 2023, and with the down-sizing of our herd, we haven’t tried rebreeding her yet. However, she had a focused ultrasound in January 2025, and she appears to be healthy with a normal uterus and ovaries.
Note: Price is currently $2500 with breeding, but reserve is set higher as a contract must be executed to seal the deal. 50% down payment required. We will also guarantee a pregnancy by ultrasound before you pay the balance.
Standard industry contracts are used. Breeding quality alpacas come with reproductive and live birth guarantees. You may take possession of your alpacas once the down payment is received and the “contract for purchase” signed by both parties. Transfer of ownership with ARI will not occur until full payment is received. Financing is available with 25 - 33% down, with up to 24 monthly payments. Buyer must purchase full mortality insurance for alpaca and offspring, if any, naming Man in the Moon Farm LLC as beneficiary on balance due until paid in full. Breedings include 60 day agistment unless otherwise noted. Special pricing often available for multiple alpaca purchases or multiple breeding purchase. Transportation responsibility of buyer.
